European Voluntary Service (EVS), is an Action funded by the European Union, that grants the opportunity to young people to become volunteers. This voluntary service can take place in European Union and neighboring countries.
Culture, youth, sports, social care, cultural heritage, arts, civil protection, environment, development cooperation, media, are some themes and areas where an EVS project can fit.

“CARE01” June 2013 – December 2013.
The “Agios Vlasios” Chronical Diseases Infirmary hosted the first 5 volunteers on June of 2013 for 6 months (2 volunteers from Portugal, 1 from Spain, 1 from Italy, and 1 from Armenia).
[wptabs][wptabtitle] Volunteers “Good Bye” Event – CARE01[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent] Our volunteers at the end of their voluntary service prepared a public event with their experience presented in slideshows and also performed a theatrical play in cooperation with the Livadia Theatrical Group. The title of the play was “The girl with matches” and the volunteers that participated were: Tania, Gabriela, Sona, Manuel and Joao. The event took place at the Seminar Hall of the Infirmary on November 30rd, 2013

CARE02 December 2013 - June 2014
“CARE02” December 2013 – June 2014.
The second group of volunteers, from Denmark and Serbia arrived on December of 2013 and stayed for 6 months.

The third iteration of the project started in June of 2014 and lasted for 6 months with volunteers from Germany, Spain and Portugal, showing that the “Agios Vlasios” Chronical Diseases Infirmary is motivated to support young people and provide them with learning opportunities and life experiences.
